When it comes to site safety, luck- good or bad- has nothing to do with it. Each Durr employee is educated, tested and trained in all pertinent safety standards. This doesn’t just ensure their safety but the safety of their fellow workers, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, suppliers and the general public.

Over the years our training efforts have focused on topics such as trenching and shoring, hazardous communication, accident investigation, alcohol and substance abuse, CPR and first aid, and traffic control.

Our thorough safety training program includes on-site and seminar training by staffed safety professionals and outside experts. The results of this training regimen is an Experience Modification Rating (EMR) of .79 and Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR) of .87. These scores rate better than the national average due to our low worker’s compensation claims.
