Loyola Flyover Demolition
Durr worked with Gilchrist Construction Company on a demolition project that made way for a new I-10 interchange, the Loyola Flyover. The Flyover provides dedicated access to the new Louis Armstrong International Airport terminal from I-10 East and West in Kenner, LA. In the first phase of the Louisiana Department of Transportation (LaDOTD) $125.6 million project, Durr demolished the old Red Roof Inn on Loyola Drive near I-10. The new interchange opened in September 2023.
