Lafitte Greenway
Durr Heavy Construction partnered with the City of New Orleans and the Friends of the Lafitte Corridor on the Lafitte Greenway, a 2.6 mile linear park that runs from City Park to the edge of the French Quarter. More than 500 new trees, recreation fields, and lighting were added, as well as a 12-footwide bike and jogging trail that spans the entire corridor. The Lafitte Greenway connects many different New Orleans neighborhoods, running through Treme, Mid-City, Lafitte, and Iberville.
