Jefferson Parish Plaza Demo
Durr Heavy Construction was chosen to be part of the team to assist Ochsner Health System with the expansion of their facilities. Jacobs Engineering hired Durr to work on a demolition project to tear down the former Jefferson Parish Plaza Shopping Center, located at 2614 Jefferson Highway. The initial scope of work included the removal of all above-grade structural components of the East Building and Center Building, down to the existing slabs.
