Costco Covington
In August 2024, Durr completed the Costco Wholesale Warehouse project, transforming a 12-acre site in Covington, LA. The project involved a wide range of complex tasks, including relocating underground utilities, over-excavating a 180,000 SF building pad, remediating poor subgrade, and installing new subsurface storm drainage, sanitary sewer, and waterlines. Additional work required moving 30,000 CY of earth, importing 25,000 CY of structural fill, and removing 25,000 CY of unstable soils. Durr also installed 58,000 SY of soil-cement base, 12,000 LF of concrete curb and gutter, and placed 15,000 tons of asphalt paving, meeting a tight seven-month schedule.
