Olympic Town, LA Special Olympics

Durr is very proud of its involvement with the Louisiana Special Olympics for the past 15 years.  Durr dedicates money, time and effort to execute an area where the 1,400+ athletes can relax and play in between their events.  Durr arranges for over 400 volunteers to work the event and contacts various companies in the region to donate items and money to help carry out an undertaking this large.  Durr also arranges for food and refreshments for the 400+ volunteers working that day.  Many of the athletes and parents have told Durr over the years that “Olympic Town USA” is the highlight of the games.
