Lee Mayeux

Lee Mayeux is the COO of Durr Heavy Construction, a New Orleans-based construction firm specializing in site preparation, demolition, underground utilities and paving. He began working for Durr in January 2023 and brings 26 years of experience from three major industrial contractors specializing in civil, mechanical, and heavy industrial disciplines.
Mayeux grew up in Baton Rouge where he attended Catholic High School. He obtained a BS in Construction Management from Louisiana State University where he graduated as a member of the Construction Honor Society, Sigma Lambda Chi. Mayeux worked on both highway and dredging projects while on summer and winter breaks during his college years. He began his formal career in the construction industry as an estimator, progressing to project manager, vice president of operations and most recently executive vice president for general construction services.
Mayeux served on the Associated Builders and Contractors Pelican Chapter as a state board member, executive board member and board member and vice-chair for Governmental Affairs, Education & Manpower, Member Growth and Member services. He is also a member of ECC Future Leaders program, the St. Jude School Advisory board, Family Life Ministry (co-chair), St. Jude Prison Ministry and is active in coaching his daughters basketball and soccer teams.
Mayeux and his wife, Stephanie, and daughters Landry, Margaux and Julia enjoy travel, spending time with family, friends and attending LSU sporting events. He is an active golfer, hunter, outdoorsman, and a connoisseur of fine bourbons.
