Carlos A. Arrieta

Carlos Alberto Arrieta is a seasoned Human Resources professional with over a decade of experience. As the Human Resources Manager for Durr Heavy Construction, Carlos leads HR initiatives that align with the company’s strategic goals, focusing on talent acquisition, employee development, and compliance.

Carlos has a proven track record in developing HR strategies, enhancing talent acquisition, employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. He has spearheaded AI-HR initiatives and provided comprehensive DEI and EEOC principles training. With experience in managing recruitment processes, developing hiring programs, and handling large-scale operations during his service in the United States Air Force, Carlos brings strategic HR leadership and workforce planning expertise. He holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Human Resources Management and is a SHRM Certified Professional.

Carlos is an active member of the NOLA Archdiocese Catholic Association, serves on the Saint Pius X Men’s Club Board as Membership Director, coaches young basketball players from Pre-K to 7th grade, is a member of the Air Force NCOA, and is a retired Honor Guard.
