Durr Earns Three Excellence in Construction Awards from ABC New Orleans/Bayou Chapter

Durr received top honors at the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) New Orleans/Bayou Chapter Awards Gala held on November 7, 2024. Durr was presented with Excellence in Construction Awards for its work on the Woman’s Hospital Flood Prevention project in Baton Rouge, LA, the Bonnabel Greenway project in Metairie, LA, and the Costco Covington project in Covington, LA.

The Excellence in Construction Awards honor the region’s most outstanding projects, recognizing contractors who demonstrate excellence in safety, quality, innovation, and overall project execution. Each of these projects reflects Durr’s ability to successfully manage complex site conditions, maintain strong coordination with project partners, and deliver high-quality results.

The Woman’s Hospital Flood Prevention Project involved critical earthwork and drainage improvements designed to enhance flood protection for a vital healthcare facility. The Bonnabel Greenway showcased careful planning and execution within an active corridor, including coordination around traffic, utilities, and the preservation of existing trees. At Costco Covington, Durr completed a large-scale site development project, delivering the infrastructure needed to support a major retail facility while meeting demanding schedules and performance expectations.
