Durr Earns Excellence in Construction Award from ABC New Orleans/Bayou Chapter

Durr received top honors at the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) New Orleans/Bayou Chapter Awards Gala held on January 19, 2018. Durr was presented with the Excellence in Construction Award for our work on the Founders Plaza at the National WWII Museum project in New Orleans, LA.

The Founders Plaza at the National World War II Museum

The Founders Plaza at the National World War II Museum was constructed as a means to unify the current campus and to create a formal entry to the museum grounds. Durr’s scope of work for this project included, but was not limited to demolition, underground utilities, earthwork, structural concrete, structural foundations and recessed concrete pavement.

Congratulations to Project Manager, Daniel “Danny” Lagrange, General Superintendent Johnny Yoder, Project Superintendent Norman Ortiz and everyone involved in this award-winning project.
