Durr Team to Walk Again to Help
Find a Cure for Blood Cancers
HARAHAN, LA (July 13, 2010) –
Once again this year, Durr Heavy Construction will take to the night to walk in the Leukemia Lymphoma Society’s annual “Light the Night” fundraising walk on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Lafreniere Park in Metairie.
This is the second year DHC has entered a walk team. Named “Team Camille,” the group is walking in honor Camille Reynolds, daughter of north shore 
estimator Lonnie Reynolds. Camille was diagnosed with leukemia last year at the age of 7 months old.
The team is comprised of Durr employees, family and friends. Their goal is to raise $2,500 in the months leading up to the walk in October.
Last year, the team was ranked 16th overall for the most money raised.
