ABC Installs 2011 Board of Directors

NEW ORLEANS , LA (January 14, 2011) –

The WWII Museum was the site for the Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. (ABC) New Orleans/Bayou Chapter Board of Directors Installation and Awards Celebration on Friday, January 14, 2011.

Andy Anderson of King Company, LP was named chairman of the New Orleans/Bayou Chapter of ABC.  He was sworn in at the annual officer installment ceremony by Chapter Attorney Phil Shuler of Chaffe McCall, LLP.

King replaces outgoing chairman Rob Wooderson of Gibbs Construction, LLC.

Also taking the oath of office was the 2011 Executive Committee and Board of Directors.  Jason Manson, Vice President of the Northshore Division of Durr Heavy Construction, LLC was one of the officers installed.  This is Manson’s second year as a member of the chapter’s board.

“I look forward to serving the construction industry once again this year,” Manson said.  “It is a great honor to represent the members of ABC on their board of directors.”

ABC is a national trade association representing over 25,000 merit shop contractors with 79 chapters across the United States.  Approximately 80 percent of all construction workers are employed by merit shop companies.
