Jason L. Manson

Vice President, North Shore Division

Jason L. Manson received a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology in 1994 from the University of Southwestern Louisiana’s College of Engineering (Lafayette, Louisiana). Prior to that, he was graduated from Bishop Joseph V. Sullivan Catholic High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Jason MansonManson started his career in construction at Durr Heavy Construction in 1994 as an Office Engineer and has successfully progressed through various facets of the Company in capacities as Office Engineer, Estimator, Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager, Senior Project Manager and currently, Vice President, of Durr’s North Shore Division Office located in Covington, Louisiana. Manson also heads Durr’s Technological Advancement Committee.

During his employment at Durr, Manson graduated from the Associated Builders and Contractors (Bayou Region Chapter) Leadership Academy, as well as the FMI Leadership Institute. He holds certifications in Emergency Preparedness (IS-2) and Hazardous Materials (IS-5) from the Federal Emergency Management Agency; 40 Hour HAZWOPER and Competent Person Training from O.S.H.A.; and Medic First Aid Initiator and C.P.R. Provider from EMP America, Incorporated. Manson attributes his professional successes to his organizational skills, diligence, persistence, and his ability to surround himself with winners.

Manson and his wife Katie have been married for twelve years and have three children. He and his family are active parishioners of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church Parish in Mandeville, Louisiana. When not at work, Manson enjoys spending time with his wife and children, traveling, fishing, electronics and home improvements.
